Internship Program

ISF Trainee Program offers international students from around the world the unique opportunity to gain valuable practical training experience in Spain.
 

Town: Madrid, Cadiz, Seville and Valencia
 

Dates: Flexible. Students can arrive on any Sunday to start an internship on Monday at any time throughout the year. 

A minimum commitment of 2 weeks is required. Applications must be received at least 24 weeks before your desired start date.   
 

Focus: Gain practical work experience while deepening the understanding of Spanish culture and business practices   
 

Housing: Carefully chosen Spanish family homestay (full board).   
 

Level: Participants must have an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish and must be at least 17 years of age at the start of the internship. Students who do not have meet the minimum language requirement may opt to take a Spanish course prior to beginning the internship.

The main objective of the professional training program is to continue with the development of the student.

Students are able to gain knowledge through study in the classroom as well as learning through real life experience.
 

The program will serve to introduce the students with little professional experience to the working world. On the other hand the company benefits because the students are encouraged to offer suggestions and ideas about the company.

The participation in an international internship is more and more valued by businesses. On top of this an understanding of the language becomes something unique to put on a resume.

Once the students are accepted to the program, we will find a meaningful internship within the field they requested. ISF cannot guarantee the undertaking of specific responsibilities, such as experience with particular computer programs or the chance to have input on a certain type of project.

Our goal is to provide students with an internship relating to thei field of choice where they will be able to assist with special projects and that will give them real-world, professional experience. They should also expect to perform some administrative tasks and general office work.

The price of our professional training program includes:  registration fee, lodging, meals and much more. We have no hidden fees, extra cost or surprises. The price covers everything except personal expenses, such as shopping, eating out of your house or in a restaurant by choice, taking taxis, medicines or certain optional activities going beyond the planned program.
 

Travel to/from the location of the internship is the responsibility of the student. The commute may require public transportation, and can range from 20 minutes to an hour.
 

Specifically, the price includes:

• Registration fee.
• Reception and assistance from an ISF Coordinator at the airport.
• Transfer from/to Madrid/Sevilla/Valencia/Jerez de la Frontera airport –family meeting point - Sevilla/Valencia/Jerez de la Frontera airport.
• Program orientation upon arrival. 
• 30 hour of internship a week. 
• Tutorship (1 hour a week)
• Student ID Card. 
• Carefully chosen Spanish families home stay. 2 students per family. 
• All meals included (3 meals a day). 
• Welcome and farewell snack. 
• Attendance and student achievement certificate. 
• Health and liability insurance (medicines are not included). 
• 24 hours on-site support.
